A unique opportunity is coming to Augusta, Athens, and Savannah with a series of free, short courses on how to effectively integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into the workplace. These sessions aim to provide practical knowledge that can enhance productivity and innovation across various industries.

The initiative, led by Emory University’s Center for AI Learning in collaboration with the metro-Atlanta Rowen Foundation and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, is part of the “AI + You: Save Time, Earn More and Thrive with AI” program, running through September.

As AI continues to influence the global economy, healthcare, and everyday life, this program is dedicated to ensuring that all residents of Georgia have the chance to harness AI’s transformative power. The courses are tailored to quickly equip participants with the skills needed to implement AI tools effectively in their work environments.

“There are significant advantages to understanding how AI can enhance your professional and personal life,” says Joe Sutherland, Director of the Center for AI Learning and leader of the program. “Our goal is to provide comprehensive, accessible, and flexible training resources to every Georgian, regardless of their industry, position, or level of experience.”

The events will take place at various local chambers of commerce and technical colleges, with the Georgia Chamber playing a key role in coordinating these events and promoting them to its members.

The Athens session is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on September 5 at the Athens Coca-Cola Bottling Co., 640 Athena Dr.

The Augusta session will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on September 19 at Augusta Tech, 3200 Augusta Tech Dr.

Details for the Savannah session are still being finalized.
