Role Overview:

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Siri Natural Language Team, you will work closely with a team of engineers and researchers, focusing on improving Siri’s relevance and graph inference capabilities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the research and practical application of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to push the boundaries of intelligent voice assistants.

• Transforming cutting-edge AI research into practical models that elevate the user experience on Apple devices.

• Guiding the team in innovative projects, fostering an environment of growth and exploration.

• Participating in model development, experimentation, and deployment across Siri’s features.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions that align with Apple’s broader business strategy.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Machine Learning, particularly in LLMs and Generative AI.

• A track record of published research in AI or ML, with the ability to apply advanced concepts to real-world applications.

• Proficiency in fine-tuning models and applying research techniques in practical settings.

• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills, with experience leading teams in dynamic environments.

• Advanced degrees in Computer Science, AI, ML, or a related field are highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits:

Apple offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $175,800 to $312,200 depending on skills, qualifications, and experience.
