Union Minister Piyush Goyal has introduced two cutting-edge AI-driven tools aimed at revolutionizing India's intellectual property (IP) management landscape. The newly launched tools, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), are designed to accelerate trademark search processes while providing real-time assistance to users. This initiative is part of India's broader efforts to modernize and enhance its IP infrastructure.

The tools were unveiled during a special event in New Delhi, signaling India's commitment to improving efficiency in IP management. The AI-powered trademark search tool enables users to conduct faster and more precise searches, significantly reducing the time and effort involved in protecting intellectual property. Meanwhile, the Saarthi chatbot offers real-time support, addressing user queries and guiding applicants through various IP processes with ease.

Speaking at the launch, Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, emphasized the government's focus on leveraging technology to enhance public services. “These AI and ML-based solutions are a step toward simplifying and accelerating the IP management ecosystem, ultimately benefiting businesses, startups, and innovators,” he said.

The introduction of these tools is expected to encourage more businesses, innovators, and entrepreneurs to engage with the IP system in India, contributing to the country's goal of becoming a global innovation hub.
