Lenovo has introduced a new lineup of services aimed at accelerating AI hardware adoption for businesses and partners. Announced on Thursday, the company revealed products designed to enhance AI-powered operations within organizations, including innovations in GPU performance and server cooling efficiency.
These solutions cater to various needs, from threat management to improving energy efficiency in AI systems. Lenovo’s goal is to offer "smarter AI for all," responding to the increasing demand for AI-driven tools among enterprises.
“Adopting an as-a-service approach and implementing the right AI-powered infrastructure reduces the complexity of executing a robust AI strategy. It also helps organizations meet sustainability goals across the entire network, from data centers to edge devices,” said Vlad Rozanovich, SVP of Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group. “With Lenovo’s AI services, businesses gain the flexibility and cost-efficiency of a scalable, pay-as-you-go solution, helping them remain competitive and innovative.”
A significant highlight of Lenovo’s new offerings is Lenovo TruScale GPU as a Service (GPUaaS). This service will provide customers with scalable GPU power on a pay-as-you-go basis, allowing businesses to tap into Nvidia Tensor Core GPUs through intelligent orchestration. The service will be an extension of Lenovo TruScale for high-performance computing (HPC) solutions, offering a flexible and cost-efficient way to manage GPU resources.
Lenovo is also simplifying AI operations by combining AI and systems management into one platform. The new Lenovo XClarity One provides AI-powered IT support, merging AI-driven IT operations with management functions to minimize guesswork. This platform uses Lenovo’s AIOps system, featuring three predictive engines for fast and accurate failure detection, ensuring businesses can detect and resolve issues quickly.
Additionally, Lenovo introduced new Power and Cooling Services to enhance the energy efficiency of their AI hardware. With Lenovo Neptune’s direct liquid cooling technology, power consumption can be reduced by up to 40%. This will not only optimize AI workloads but also align with businesses' sustainability goals.
