Samsung Unveils The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 Ultra-Short Throw Projectors

Samsung Electronics America has introduced its latest home entertainment innovations: The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 projectors. These cutting-edge ultra-short throw projectors are designed to elevate any living space into a high-end home cinema, offering impressive 4K resolution, immersive sound, and advanced features.

James Fishler, Senior Vice President of Home Entertainment at Samsung Electronics America, emphasized the importance of delivering a cinematic experience at home, which is why Samsung has enhanced its award-winning lineup with these new models. Both The Premiere 9 and 7 projectors are equipped with laser technology, enabling vibrant 4K visuals on screens as large as 130 inches. The Premiere 9, in particular, boasts triple laser technology for superior color accuracy and brightness, certified by HDR10+.

These projectors bring every scene to life with a color gamut that covers 154% (The Premiere 9) and 100% (The Premiere 7) of the DCI-P3 standard. They also feature innovative AI enhancements like 4K AI Upscaling and Vision Booster, ensuring optimal picture quality regardless of the original content or lighting conditions. Audio is equally impressive, with built-in Dolby Atmos technology delivering powerful, immersive sound without the need for additional equipment.

The projectors run on Samsung’s Tizen OS, providing easy access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the integrated Samsung Gaming Hub, offering access to thousands of premium titles without the need for a console.

In addition to their technical prowess, The Premiere projectors are designed to seamlessly blend into any home environment, featuring a minimalist, fabric-covered design that complements modern décor. They’re also equipped with smart home capabilities, enabling voice control and integration with Samsung’s SmartThings hub.
