Apple Prepares iPhone SE and iPad Air Upgrades for Early 2024

Apple is gearing up for the release of its updated iPhone SE and iPad Air models, expected to hit the market early next year, according to a report from Bloomberg. Sources familiar with the matter have revealed that the new iPhone SE will serve as a refreshed low-end model, while the iPad Air will also see significant internal improvements.

This will be the first update to the iPhone SE since 2022, a model known for its affordability within Apple's smartphone lineup. The last version introduced 5G connectivity and the powerful A15 Bionic chip, making it competitive with mid-range offerings from industry giants like Samsung and Xiaomi.

Apple is also said to be developing a new version of its Magic Keyboard accessory, specifically designed for both the 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Air models. These updates are aimed at enhancing user experience and productivity with the iPad Air. Additionally, the report indicates that the iPhone SE will feature support for Apple’s AI-powered software, Apple Intelligence.

In September, Apple unveiled its AI-powered iPhone 16 series, which enhanced Siri's capabilities and introduced AI features to improve camera functionality, object recognition, and other tasks. The forthcoming iPhone SE is expected to carry some of these AI advancements, further solidifying Apple's place in the competitive smartphone landscape.
